From M62 Eastbound
Leave M62 at
Junction 23.
As you come off
slip road, immediately move across into right hand
lane.
Go full 360
degrees round roundabout and take A640 New Hey Road to
Outlane. (Signposted Rochdale and Outlane)
Go straight
through Outlane village and continue up hill.
As road plateau’s
at the top of the hill you will see at turning on your
right called Marsden gate (road name plate is a bit
old and manky and set well back so keep your eyes
peeled. Turn right here. (If you go over a motorway
bridge as the road veers left and then right then
you've overshot the turning and need to turn around).
You will be on a
road which appears to be a dead end at a house 50
yards further on. This is an optical illusion.
As you reach the
house you will see it is on a T-junction. Turn left
and then immediately right past the side of the house.
100 yards further down the road there is a lay-by on
the right. The site is on the left opposite.
From M62 Westbound
Leave M62 at
Junction 24
Keep left on slip
road. At roundabout turn immediately left onto A643
Lindley Moor Road (signposted Rochdale). Follow this
road to next Roundabout.
Go two thirds of
way around roundabout and take A640 New Hey Road to
Outlane. (Signposted Rochdale and Outlane)
Go straight
through Outlane village and continue up hill.
